This extreme weather rain cap prevents rain water from running down into your 3" stainless steel venting, which can damage your tankless water heater. You should use this rain cap if you live in areas prone to heavy rains.
Every vertical ventilation system needs a Rain Cap, a Roof Flashing (Flat, Adjustable, or Steep Adjustable) and a Top Support / Storm Collar).
