It creates a unique and dramatic effect giving the fireplace a whole new appearance without a costly expense or unsightly construction. A heavy duty mesh screen along with sturdy iron construction allows this screen to provide superior spark protection keeping burning embers from sparking onto the floor or furniture as well as keeping children / pets away from the fire reducing worry about potential safety hazards. The 18209 is lightweight and features a folding design / handles on each side panel for ease in transporting / storing and for safety reasons. This screen is manufactured in the USA and a Limited Lifetime Warranty is included. Please allow 1 / 8" tolerance due to hand forging. Screen size refers to framed mesh area and does not include feet or decorated finials. Screen is also made to be placed on the outside of the fireplace and should be at least 1" larger than fireplace opening on all sides.
