Coil Heaters - Mini Coil Heaters - Mini Band Heaters - Sprue Bushing Heaters
Coil Heaters Description The coil heater can be formed to a variety of shapes. Coil heaters are small diameter, high performance, and fully annealed units. These heaters can be formed into coiled nozzle heaters for use on injection molding machine nozzles and sprue bushings supplying 360º of heat with optional distributed wattage models also available. Coil Heaters Features Operating temperatures to 1200ºF Heater's low mass allows for rapid heating and cooling Heating elements sealed from contamination constructed with no open seams Standard 304 stainless steel sheat provides corrosion resistance Optional internal thermocouple for temperature control Available straight or coiled configuration Square coil heaters (0.130 x 0.130) Flat coil heaters (0.090 x 0.150) 40" Teflon insulated leads = standard Round coil heaters (0.125") Round coil heaters (0.150")
Mini Coil Heaters - Mini Band Heaters - Sprue Bushing Heaters Mini Coil Heaters Description Mini coil heaters or mini band heaters lend themselves to a variety of applications. Because of its flexibility mineral insulated cable can be coiled, formed, wrapped around pipes or used straight. Open wound mini coil heaters can be used as cartridge heaters where irregular size bores are found. More often however, mini coil heaters are used on plastic injection molding machine bushings and for machine nozzles.
Cast Sprue Bushing Heaters Sprue Bushing Heaters Description Cast sprue bushing heaters are sealed units eliminating heater failure from contamination. The casting incorporates a copper alloy to maximize heater efficiency. Tight tolerance machining of inside diameters insures precision fit and longer heater life. Cast sprue bushing heaters are capable of operating continuously at 1200ºF and are available with optional internal thermocouple for accurate temperature control.
