The Flexcon Expansion Water Tank SXHT40 is a freestanding unit constructed of deep drawn welded steel domes that carry a capacity of 20 gallons of water and features an appliance quality finish on the outside of the tank that provides many years of service within damp basements or crawl spaces. The Flexcon patented double diaphragm design is constructed of butyl rubber that is engineered for a longer life offering low permeability rates at higher temperatures. The oversized diaphragm maximizes tank drawdown, minimizes wear and eliminates diaphragm stretch, all of which enhance the tank's longevity. This tank utilizes a welded system connection with a built-in hex nut for easy, hassle-free installation and the brass shredder valve includes an o-ring seal ensuring air side integrity minimizing leaks. Every Flexcon Hydronic Expansion Tank is pressure tested and backed with a 5 Year Written, Limited Manufacturer's Warranty. Each package includes the tank, an air scoop and vent for added installer convenience.
