The Dimplex Floor Drop In Heater FFIH15A31 is designed for fan-forced comfort where floor mounting is desired i.e. hallways, entryway, solariums etc. This one-phase electric heater provides outputs ranging from 375 to 1500 watts, and its nickel-chromium heating element comes totally enclosed in a steel sheath with spiral steel fins firmly staked to the surface to ensure excellent heat transfer. Its manual and automatic reset thermal cutout protects against overheating. The unit comes factory wired for 240/208-volt at 1500/1125-watt operation and can be field wired to 120-volt at 375, 750, 1125, or 1500 watts; 208-volt at 563 or 750 watts; or 240-volt at 1125 watts.

Specially formulated polyester powder coating process is applied to the front panel which resists fading and abrasion.
Construction
The housing is constructed of 18 gauge satin coat steel complete with knockouts to accommodate field wiring. The louvered grille is constructed of 14 gauge steel with 9 gauge trim.
Heating Element
A nickel chromium element is totally enclosed within a steel sheath and spiral steel fins are brazed to the element to provide excellent heat transfer.
Controls
An external thermostat control (not included) is required to operate this unit. The unit is factory wired for 240/208V @ 1500/1125W operation and can be field wired to 120V @ 1125W
