TPI's Metal Sheath Heating Element 641-70281 is a nickel-chrome alloy coiled element is embedded in magnesium oxide insulating powder producing 2000 watts of output while using 600 volts of power. It emits dull orange light and has high mechanical ruggedness. This element needs to be mounted at a height of 8 to 12 feet for indoor spot heating and total area heating. With a life expectancy of 5,000 hours, it comes with 4 year pro-rated warranty. The 641-70281 is for use with models CH-257-1C and CH-657-3C produced after November 1, 2011.
