Energy Star qualified, this model features an energy factor of 0.82 and is certified for installation in mobile homes. With 10,300 - 180,000 input BTU's, the unit has direct electronic ignition and uses natural gas to heat water only when needed. When water flow is detected, the unit begins heating water as it passes through the copper heat exchanger. When the demand for water ceases, the tankless unit shuts down, using no gas while idle.
