TPI's Metal Sheath Heating Element 641-37211 is a nickel-chrome alloy coiled element is embedded in magnesium oxide insulating powder producing 1800 watts of output while using 120 volts of power. It emits dull orange light and has high mechanical ruggedness. This element needs to be mounted at a height of 8 to 12 feet for indoor spot heating and total area heating. With a life expectancy of 5,000 hours, it comes with 4 year pro-rated warranty. The 641-37211 is for use with model CH-212-1A produced before November 1, 2011 and model FHK-212-1CA regardless of production time.
